LIVING FOR THE DAY, OR THE YOKE OF CONSUMERISM
The jackhammer of need, battered by snobbery and envy, strikes like a spring against the sensitivity of the limbic system. Therefore, it is the obligation of social mentors to apply a therapy—as swift as it is necessary—aimed at correcting consumerist paranoia, in a way that differs from interest-free loans, now used even to pay for summer vacations. To fly toward the world of freedom, one must take off from the underworld of need, which, unchecked and for its own benefit, reigns supreme.
