RESILIENCE: A «WORD» THAT STAYS IN DISCOURSE?
A new day begins, and from breakfast onward, I wonder if FAMILY RESILIENCE (the capacity of family members to recover from traumas and adverse circumstances, emerging stronger and better prepared to face additional difficulties that arise in life) has been considered essential for achieving the longed-for social rehabilitation.
Undeniably, there would be an urgent need for appropriate health policies, including the implementation of socioeconomic, recreational, and educational strategies, linked to psychiatric and/or psychotherapeutic interventions, both group and/or individual, within a context of support and solidarity. We would thus be talking about the so-called RESILIENT PROCESS (omitted in this rant), introduced into society through systematic and detailed programmatic campaigns.
