REASON AND ABSTRACTION
From rigid thought arises the channeled process of conceptualization: this is PHILOSOPHY.
As a competitor or alternative, it awakens languid thought, which strives to demonstrate that the thought process can take other paths to achieve its objectives: unidirectional rigidity would find its answer in the option of expressing the strict and the unshakeable with grace and beauty: this is POETRY.
The interconnection between both capacities is not only feasible but demonstrable: Nietzsche, Hegel, and other philosophers, at certain moments, short-circuited the axons of reason to ignite the blush of feeling after subtly invoking the muses…
