Do children matter,
people who die
unexpectedly?
What should matter
is every child,
every person who dies
and never again witness
a surreptitious death!
Enough is enough; forever,
once and for all,
the violence must stop,
never again the foul cries
of a badly wounded child
and, for God’s sake, without complaint
and with even more reason,
if, from horror, they have died!
