
Hunger is incompatible with the awakening of desires. The desires for splendor, for tenderness, for concord, for probity, for the future, do not go from being vile frustrations if hunger does not disappear; the unfortunate reality should be dealt with, spontaneously, by a disinterested and global unit of action, without anything or anyone arrogating and boasting of its conquest. The voices, a cappella, must be loud and clear, like the smiles of a child recently eaten and preserved from suffering.
