IT IS NOT EQUALITY, BUT SOLIDARITY, THAT MEN AND WOMEN NEED

Feminism forgets, I believe clumsily and deliberately, whether by slogan or snobbish spite, to guide men toward respect and bring them out of the ghetto of dishonor, where they have been unjustly and deviously confined. In my opinion, this is the fundamental reason why masculinity in general is labeled as dangerous, resulting in men’s misgivings in their interactions with others. Recognizing the widespread prevalence of noble male affection and granting men the freedom to express it could be key to moderating the often undesirable responses to an unjust and persistent accusation of dominance. This approach to the problem would also be very useful in accepting as necessary the reasonable and favorable attempts toward equality in dignity.
