We do not choose the way of living; it is imposed on us surreptitiously and by way of snobbery, in a complex and accommodating way, although crappy and regrettable; the “use and throw away” prevails over that more consistent and constructive aspiration of “for life”. In order to survive, the most bearable and endearing pillars are ignored and we march, in a barge, disoriented and bored. The need for a radical change of conscience, also of intelligence, to carry the flag of defiance of stupidity, is crucial for freedom.

No elegimos el modo de vivir; se nos impone subrepticiamente y a modo de esnobismo, de forma compleja y complaciente, aunque cutre y lamentable; el “usar y tirar” prevalece sobre esa aspiración más consistente y constructiva del “para toda la vida”. Para sobrevivir se ignoran los pilares más llevaderos y entrañables y se marcha, en barcaza, desorientados y aburridos.
