THE UNQUESTIBLE DEMAND
The quick, submissive, automatic response, without the option of replying to the indisputable demand, or "categorical imperative" is reappearing, unthinkable, in societies where servility seemed to have been overcome; insidious power tries to institute it as a mandatory "ethical" norm.
The "yes bwana" is not a cliché, but an automatic vassalage reaction that results from the orchestrated blocking of the analytical capacity to decide whether the demand is satisfied without further ado, or is postponed due to revocation, allegation, or limitation. This form of "lowering oneself" remains in force, with pseudoethical consistency, in malleable or superstitious societies ("banana republics") where the dogmatic has more room than the pragmatic and, therefore, more exposed to the directed conduction of thought. So, in minds with little intellectual fervor, the "doctrine" of submission is being inculcated in a continuous and subliminal way: the "order and command" of the paradigmatic superior entity and almost always, of sublime condition. ("So and so, I sign him, blank") ("I do it, because, what he asks of me, he goes to mass")
Kant, is convinced that everything that requires, without the option of reply, goes beyond the red line of ethics. For this reason, he ends up framing within his space, only that which can be debated, appealed and subject to conditions: "Help others, if you want to have friends." "Think before signing." "I do not abide by the good; You explain it to me, I value it and I decide ”. The unappealable would be unrelated, not only from the ethical, but also from the aesthetic.
In my opinion, the greatest force to reestablish ethics, where it does not exist, would be, neither more nor less, than "educate, educate, educate and educate" to get out of inertia the ability to discern and favor the dismantling of myths, superstitions, rites, magic, occultism, power, omerta, fear, fanaticism. There is no doubt that education would be the most powerful weapon to achieve social leveling. A consensual, irrevocable and universal disposition would be essential to decide strategies in a context of political asepsis, where educational plans are conceived to enlighten the mind and not to wash it.
